I’ve decided to pursue writing and art again (again). (It’s always “coming around again” round here.) If you don’t love my efforts, it’s OK. This is for me.

This blog entry is a celebration of many kinds. Here’s one: my computer has been broken for over a month. I’m writing tonight on my new one.

It has snowed
Oh, finally!
However can I sleep?
The light of snow in the night invites, entices, enchants, enthralls.
What is IT that has snowed?

Or Who?
Has God snowed?
Shed His grace on us?

Snow is a miracle.
Behold the glory, the work, the gift. Yes, worthy of kneeling gratitude.
I see You.

I see You.

Ice cold warming blanket of Love.

I have seen more snow in recent weeks than I wished to see, e.g.18 in at one time and over 6 in. following the big one. I will not forget your words about the warming blanket of Love that IS warming, because it comes from God. Thanks for this beautiful perspective and the images! Happy New Year! 🙂

    • Thank you so much for your kind words, Joyce! I live in Utah which has a high desert climate. We need every drop of rain and every snowflake we can get. This is our first significant storm this winter. Too bad we can’t share the weather around a bit.
