I bought a new loom recently. It’s a 28″ wide Ashford Knitter’s loom (my other two AKLs are 20″ wide). The first project I completed was already on the loom when I bought it. It’s interesting finishing someone else’s project. It took weeks for me to get around to finishing the hemstitching—the fuzzy gray yarn was a bit hard to hand stitch with.

It’s about 3:00 A.M.
I’m sitting at my desk, listening to music, wide awake for the first time in about 24 hours. I’m also weaving on my pin loom—designing and testing patterns, writing notes. And I’m wondering silly things.
Technically this post is NOTES ON THIS PARTICULAR PROJECT, but there’s some useful information about the pattern and which pick-up stick to use for warp float weaving.
