***(20 March 2019 UPDATE: see Loomette Sunken Square)***

I didn’t host this week’s Weave-Along, but I wanted to post the pattern in my notation style. Everyone’s mind seems to work a little differently and my mind likes to know when there are repeats in a pattern–that way, my brain doesn’t have to reset itself for repeated rows. I’m one up if I’ve already performed the steps successfully.

Thanks to LK Stimeling for making the job so much easier for me! Pin Loom Weaving Support Group, WAL, Week 4

Loomette Sunken Square original version

I used the “magic knot” technique to join my two colors at Cr2. I don’t know if I’m fond of the knot or not, but it’s convenient to join ends this way, so I’ve been doing it a lot lately.

Magic knot color join.

Magic knot color join.

I wanted to include this correction suggested by Nancy Meffe on the Pin Loom Weaving Support Group. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet, but I want it here when I do:

R5: P2, U3, O1, U1, (O3, U1) x4, O1, P2, U3, P2
