One of the advantages of belonging to the Facebook Pin Loom Weaving Support Group (yeah, I rejoined, but not as and admin this time) is seeing all the variations on a theme. In this case, Bonnie Visser’s version of the Star Cushion.

I was really impressed with how pretty the star is in white, and also, Bonnie’s use of Suzanne Eakin’s Braided Diagonal pattern stitch. It’s almost as if the stitch was made for this project.

As always, be sure to keep all the corner twos pointed inward, short tails all on the same side as each other.

Note that all corner twos are pointing inward; all short tail ends are on the right side of the stretched squares.

You too can create a beautiful star cushion with Braided Diagonal stripes!
