Materials
4-inch pin loom
6-inch weaving needle
needle threader (optional)
fork (optional) to pack the rows together during weaving
2 colors of yarn that look good together
Colors used in this sample:
Color 1 (C1): Red Heart Soft “Teal”
Color 2 (C2): Bernat Satin “Sage”
Standard Scottish Stitch warping:
Layer 1: 8 strands C1, 8 strands C2.
Layer 2: 8 strands C2, 8 strands C1.
Layer 3: 8 strands C1, 8 strands C2.
Layer 4: 8 strands C2, 8 strands C1.

Weaving Instructions:
Begin weaving with C2. (2 3/4 wraps around the loom for each color should be plenty.)
Row 1: Plain (P)
Even rows: (O outside loop) U-1, O-3 (4x); P to end
Odd rows: O-1, U-3 (4x); P to end
***After 8 rows of C2, switch to C1.
Rows 9-15: Repeat Odd and Even row patterns
